A roundtable will take place on the 10th of May at the University of Bologna entitled ‘European Cultural Diplomacy and Arab Christians in Palestine, 1918–1948 -Between Contention and Connection’.
This roundtable focusses on the entangled history of Christian communities in Mandate Palestine (1918-1948) through the lens of the birth of cultural diplomacy. It is based on Crossroads’ recently published book “European Cultural Diplomacy and Arab Christians in Palestine, 1918-1948” (Pallgrave McMillan, 2021), and will include editors Karène Summerer Sanchez and Sary Zananiri, authors Paolo Maggiolini, Roberto Mazza and Maria Chiara Rioli.
